Katie McKenzie is an artist and kinesiologist, based in Cape Town, South Africa.

'An an artist, I am drawn to the energy of light.
By painting with intense, impasto brushstrokes & metal pigments, I explore the way that light dances across the artwork, giving the artwork a kinetic energy.
This 'dance of light' across the canvas, allows the artworks to be ever-changing, depending on the light at different times of the day or in different light settings.
